Women, WOD, Worship – Fundraiser for Faith Rx’d

Strong women of God are just that– strong. Her arms are strengthened by carrying children, building families, lifting others up, carrying the burdens of friends, providing for herself and her family. Her arms are not strong simply to look good in a sleeveless shirt. Her kind of strength is not for show, it is for service. She is constantly working and serving with their hands those around them. Women – WOD – Worship (and appetizers….) Join us for a FUN evening of physical and spiritual fitness & help us to raise funds to be able to be present & minister to the athletes and visitors at the Granite Games. We are asking $10 per athlete to help support the Faith Rx’d ministry to be able to have a booth at the Granite Games and be able to share the God’s love with the athletes and spectators that weekend. Be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of time. Prayer, intro and warm up will begins promptly at 6:00 pm. Please indicate if you plan to attend (it helps to plan the WOD accordingly), and share this post with your friends/family. When: Sunday, April 8, 2018 Time: 6 PM Where: CrossFit 5885 5885 149th St W Apple Valley, MN 55124 PACK: – Workout Gear – Water/Recovery beverage (optional, we have FitAid and Fuel for Fire available for puchase at $3/each) – Bible (or Bible App on phone) FAQ’s: – What if I don’t do CrossFit? The workout will have elements for all levels. No prior CrossFit experience necessary. Just need to be willing to try something new. – What if I don’t go to church? We want you here!! Folks of all (or no) faith backgrounds are welcome! – Do I need to be a CrossFit 5885 member? Not at all! We are Faith Rx’d Twin Cities South, MN and grateful to have the box and resources donated for our use. – Do you have childcare? Sorry we don’t for little ones. Kids as young as middle school are welcome if they plan to participate in the workout and the devotional time. -Can I bring my friends? Yes, ABSOLUTELY! We simply ask that you let us know in advance, and have you arrive 15 minutes ahead of time to sign a waiver form prior to beginning the WOD.
